Prices for Ford's new cross-hatchback range between Rs. 5.09 lakh and 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
Ford has launched the Freestyle in India. The car has been launched to compete with the likes of the Hyundai i20 Active, Honda WR-V, Toyota Etios Cross and Fiat Urban Cross.
With the Freestyle, Ford has also introduced a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon petrol motor, which is also expected to power the Figo and Aspire in future. This engine is tuned to pump 94bhp of max power and 120Nm of peak torque. The Freestyle diesel is powered by Ford’s familiar 1.5-litre engine, generating 98bhp and 215Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard with both engines. There is no automatic option on offer.
