The army-spec Safari gets a two-door soft top variant.
Last year, Tata Motors supplied the Indian Armed Forces with custom army-spec Safari Storme 4X4s, called the GS800. Now, the company has unveiled the soft top avatar of the vehicle.
The GS800 is a 4x4 platform developed to meet requirement of Ministry of Defence for a general service all terrain vehicle. The platform is equipped with emergency communication system which comes with an antenna and mast and used as a communication system during disasters, supporting one-way and two-way communication of emergency messages between troops.
