In the past few months, TVS has been launching new products in the market quite aggressively. Last year in December, it was the Apache RR 310, followed by the arrival of NTorq 125 scooter early in 2018, and then more recently the Apache RTR 160 4v also went on sale. The good thing is, TVS’ focus isn’t only on new products. The company is also revamping the existing range simultaneously. Earlier this year, TVS launched the Race Edition of the RTR 200 4v, then came a similarly sporty version of the old RTR 160, and now the firm has launched the RTR 180 Race Edition.
The RTR 180 Race Edition is priced at Rs 83,233 (ex-showroom Delhi), and is available only in Pearl White colour with racy red graphics. Powering the motorcycle is the same 177.4cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 16.3bhp and 15.5Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
